Cranes squad to face Rwanda named

Newly appointed interim Uganda Cranes coach Moses Basena has started off his assigned duties by summoning a 25-man squad to face Rwanda in the second round of the CHAN 2018 qualifiers.

Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan and striker Erisa Sekisambu have been included in the squad after missing out on the first round encounters against South Sudan. Exciting Vipers SC’s starlet Frank “Zaga” Tumwesigye has also been summoned as the youngest player in the squad.

Basena alongside his assistant Fred Kajoba will start conducting training tomorrow Wednesday 2nd August at Namboole stadium and will end on 5th August.

The first leg will be played on 12th August at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende while the return leg is scheduled for 18th August.
