Big League leaders Police FC overcame Booma FC with a 2-1 victory on Saturday at Kavumba Recreation ground.
Isaac Ogwang fired the hosts into the lead in the 6th minute of the contest when he converted from the spot after Denis Kalanzi had been brought down.
The visitors restored parity through Dickson Niwamanya in the 25th minute.
In the 55th minute, Herman Wasswa who had replaced Ogwang five minutes to halftime breather scored the second goal for the Cops.
Police FC are now on 40 points they have garnered in 19 games and are five points above second placed Lugazi FC who drew 1-1 with third placed Mbale Heroes on Saturday.
