FUFA Big League log leaders Police FC target bouncing back to winning ways when they host relegation threatened Kyetume FC at Kavumba Recreation grounds on Sunday 5th-May.
The Cops lost 1-0 to Blacks Power in the previous game at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira.
Kyetume FC registered a convincing 4-1 victory against Booma FC at Nakisunga grounds in their previous encounter.
Despite defeat, Police FC are still on top of the table with 44 points, three above second placed Kataka FC.
Kyetume are in the relegation zone in 12th position with 23 points from 23 games.
Simon Peter Mugerwa the man at the helms of Police FC believes focus and hard work is the only way in which they can bounce back to winning ways,
“We are hosting Kyetume FC, a side fighting relegation but managed to register victory in their previous game, so the only way we can bounce back to winning ways is by staying focused and working so hard as we draw closer to our promotion hopes.”
With victory, Police FC will move to 47 points maintaining the top of the table position.
Kyetume can move out of the relegation zone with victory.
