Swedish giants BK Häcken have loaned striker John Paul Dembe to Swedish second tier side IK Oddevold until the summer.

Dembe has been loaned in order to get him playing time at a competitive level.

The 18 year old striker has been limited to a total of five games with the Häcken Senior Team since his move from KCCA FC last summer.

He instead played for the Häcken U19 Team and scored 10 goals in the eight games in the U19 League.

” I hope to score a lot of goals and come back a better player, ” Dembe said upon the confirmation of his loan move.

Dembe earned immense attention during the 2023 AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt and joined Häcken on a short term loan deal from KCCA before completing a permanent move on a four year contract in December last year.

His new club IK Oddevold is a newly promoted side in the second tier commonly known as The Superettan from the third tier.

The 2024 Superettan will kick off on March 30th. IK Oddevold will visit Trelleborg FF in their first league game on March 31st.
