CAF announces major changes in dates for Interclub competitions

The confederation of African football has announced significant changes to the CAF club competitions effective the 2018/19 season.

It was decided upon that all CAF champions league matches will be played on Fridays and Saturdays not in mid week days as it has been, CAF confederations matches will be played on Sundays.

It was also passed effective this year, the winner of the CAF champions league shall be exempted from the preliminary stages and qualify directly for the group stages.

KCCA FC are Uganda’s representative in the CAF champions league and they are in group A alongside Egyptian giants Al Ahly, Esperence Tunis, and Township Rollers of Botswana.
