Following their 3-1 first leg defeat to Libya’s Abu Salim in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round, KCCA FC will host the Libyan side at St.Mary’s Stadium in Kitende on Saturday.

The Kasasiro Boys will need to score two unanswered goals to prevail to the group phase of the competition.

Sergio Traguil’s men come into this game back of a 1-0 defeat to BUL FC in the Uganda Premier league.

The Portuguese tactician is optimistic that his charges will give everything to overturn the result

“We want to make a response in the second leg. The players are ready and know the responsibility at hand. We believe it as a team and we will try to go and overturn the result. We need to be in control of the game and avoid the mistakes we made in the first leg and try to convert the chances we get then we shall have a chance. We will give it everything.” Said the Portuguese

KCCA FC will however be without new signings Mustafa Kizza and Emmanuel Loki since the pair were signed after registration window for the second round had closed.

Musitafa Mujuzi will definitely miss the game due to suspension after he was sent off in the first leg.

The good news for the Kasasiro Boys is the return of striker Muhammad Shaban.
