Vipers SC seek to stage a remarkable comeback over CS Constantine at St. Mary’s Stadium, to reach the CAF champions league group stages.

They need to overturn the visitors 1-0 lead from the first leg in Algeria to continue with their adventure in the competition.

Defender Geoffrey Wasswa who was suspended for the first leg is optimistic ahead of the contest and believes victory at BUL gives them confidence.

“We are very ready and everyone is well prepared for the game tomorrow. We head into tomorrow’s game after winning our league game at BUL FC, this gives us confidence. The togetherness in the camp also is a motivating factor and we are aiming at getting the needed result.”

Javier Martinez coached side come into this contest after sailing 3-1 past BUL FC in their previous league game, courtesy of Dan Sserunkuma, Tito Okello and Duncan Seninde goals.

Skipper Tadeo Lwanga is doubtful for this fixture while first choice custodian Fabien Mutombora has fully recovered from injury and fit for this contest.

Moses Waiswa, Dan Sserunkuma, Tito Okello and Duncan Seninde are expected to inspire the Ugandan representatives to the group stages.

The visitors will look at their first leg hero Beldjijali Kadour for inspiration.

Both sides will be aiming to advance to the group phase of the event for the first time in their history. They are also participating in the competition for the second time respectively.
