Former Uganda Cranes winger Ibrahim Buwembo Mukalazi is dead. Buwembo breathed his last at Mulago Hospital on Friday after illness.
He played for several clubs in Uganda who include Express, State House, Simba and Coffee. Buwembo also featured for several clubs in Oman and Vietnam .
The left footed winger won the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup with Uganda Cranes in 1992. He was also part of the Express side that won the 2001 Uganda Cup.
After retirement, Buwembo became a football agent and helped several players get greener pastures in the Middle-East.
Buwembo will be laid to rest on Saturday at Kyabadaza, Budde in Buwama.
