FWEL Bigwigs Kawempe Muslim and UCU Lady Cardinals booked their berths in this year’s FUFA Women Cup Quarter finals with respective away victories over Kampala Queens and Gafford Ladies.
Juliet Nalukenge’s brace inspired Kawempe Muslim to a 2-1 win past Kampala Queens in a rain laden fixture at Villa Park.
Winnie Babirye scored the lone goal for the Farida Bulega coached side.

At Kanyanya grounds, UCU Lady Cardinals eased their way past Gafford Ladies with a 2-0 comprehensive win.
Hasifa Nassuna scored the opener in the first 20 minutes of the game before Kenyan striker Maureen Kinavudori doubled the scoreline just before the halftime whistle.
Kawempe Muslim and UCU Lady Cardinals join five other teams which had previously qualified for the Quarter finals and await for the draws on a date yet to be communicated.
The other five teams include – She Corporates, Western United, Olila Women, Bugiri Town View and Muteesa 1 Royal University whereas the game between Taggy High school and Uganda Martyrs was not played.
