Isabirye delighted to have made history with BUL

BUL FC head coach Isabirye made history this evening when his side scored 6 goals in a Uganda premier league match for the first time.

They have also managed a total of 10 goals against MYDA having put 4 past them at Bugembe in the first round.

Goals from Joseph Semujju , Musa Esenu, Ibrahim Mugulusi and Simon Peter Oketch saw BUL clinch a 6-1 victory and ultimately relegated.

“I am happy with the results. It is on record that BUL has never scored six goals in a single game I believe it is a good run on the ten games with my club we have won five, lost two and drew on three occasions.”

“The league pressure is now off, we are safe and the focus turns to the Uganda Cup which I believe we can make it to the final, it is time to test all players and I need players who compete not participate.”

BUL, Vipers URA and Police are the four teams that made it to the semi finals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

In the Uganda Premier League, BUL is 11th with 33 points from 27 games and they next host Vipers on Wednesday 23rd at Kyabazinga Stadium in Bugembe.
