JINJA DERBY : Busoga United aim for a double over BUL FC

Busoga United will be hoping to complete the first ever double over their rivals BUL FC in the Jinja derby at The Mighty Arena in Jinja.

The reverse fixture at Njeru saw Busoga United emerge 3-0 victors thanks to goals from Lawrence Tezikya, Joel Madondo and Boban Ziruntusa.

The last seven meetings between BUL and Busoga United have seen either side win once and the other five ending in stalemates.

Hakim Magombe who served BUL FC for close to seven years will be facing his former pay masters after crossing to Busoga United same as midfielder Geoffrey Akol who now turns up for BUL.

The hosts will bank on the services of Lawrence Tezikya and David Bagoole in search of a positive result.

BUL FC are under caretaker Dan Kabaale will look upto captain Denis Okot, James Otim and Joseph Semujju among others.

Maximum points can temporarily move BUL FC to the fifth position. Busoga can also leapfrog BUL should they secure victory.
