Joseph Kiwanuka joins Nyamityobora technical bench

In a bid to cement their premier league status, new entrants Nyamityobora FC have boosted their technical department with the appointment of Joseph Kiwanuka.

Kiwanuka will serve as the club’s assistant coach after signing a one contract to deputise head coach James Odoch.

 

He has previously served in the same role at Express FC in the 2016-17 season under Mattia Lule before assuming the head coach role at Congolese side CD Bukavu Dawa in the 2017-18 season.

 

He spent quality time (2011-16) as head coach of Arcadia Shepherd FC in the third division in Pretoria in South Africa.

 

As a player, Kiwanuka played for State House FC, Maji FC, Citizen FC in Swaziland and Arcadia Shepherd in South Africa.

 

Kiwanuka holds a CAF B license and joins a team that consists of James Odoch (head coach), Antonio Flores (technical director), Richards Kansole (goalkeeping coach) and Juma Sekiziyivu (trainer).

 

Nyamityobora FC currently sit bottom of the 16-team log with no point garnered after 2 games. They will return to action when they visit defending champions Vipers SC on Saturday 20th October at Kitende.
