The Red Eagles are currently 9th on the table with 20 points but victory can push them into the top five.

Ndejje University are second from the bottom having managed only 8 points from the 14 games they have played so far.

FORM GUIDE
Express FC: DWLWL
Ndejje University: LLLLD

The university side is on a three match losing streak and have not won a game in their last nine. Their most recent victory dates back in October when they edged fellow newbies Paidha Black Angels.

Express played to a 1-1 draw against Maroons in their most recent match while Ndejje fell 1-0 to Tooro United at Buhinga.

Kefa Kisala the man in the Express dug out says a win tomorrow will give his side the desired preparation for the Uganda Cup tie next week.

” We want to win the game and finish the first round in style and to give us the picture on what we should do in our Uganda Cup game next Thursday against Water FC. Its a home game we shall try hard to get a good result.”

Kisala will be without his hardworking midfield prospect Badru Nsubuga who is suspended due to accumulated bookings.

” It is bad for us because he (Badru) has been one of our best players but we have players who can replace him. We have 24 players so we shall get a replacement.” Kisala says

Arthur Kiggundu and Robben Paul Kabuye will also miss out on the contest while Shafik Nana Kakeeto managed to shake off an injury sustained in the previous game.

Raymond Komakech and his Ndejje charges will have to fight tooth and nail if at all they are to clinch a positive result from Wankulukuku having lost all their 7 games played on the road this season.

Noel Nasasira, Isaa Mubiru, Fred Male and Ronald Sekubomba will have to be on their best for the visiting debutants.
