McKinstry names 20-man foreign based squad for South Sudan double header

Uganda Cranes coach Johnathan McKinstry has named a 20-man squad of foreign based players for the 2021 AFCON qualifiers double-header against South Sudan.

The squad was named in a press conference held on Thursday 22nd October at FUFA house in Mengo.

Uganda Cranes will face South Sudan on 14th November at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende before traveling to Nairobi to play against the same opponent in Nairobi Kenya.

Five or six local based players will later be added into the squad after assessment by the national team technical staff.
