The Uganda Body Building Association has on Wednesday morning launched Mr. Kampala at Xanadu Hotel, Kampala.
This year’s event is slated for 18th April, 2020 at Xanadu Hotel. Participants will compete in several items that include Body building, Men’s physique, Ladies physique and Bikini.
Nkoyoyo Joseph the general secretary, Uganda Body building Association confirmed this year’s theme and expects great competition from the participants

“Our theme for the event this year is Fitness is difficult before it it easy.” This literally tell people to work on their fitness levels.” We expect all the competitors to put up great performances.” He stated.
The six weight categories for participants are Bantamweight, Lightweight, Welterweight, Middleweight, Light heavyweight
Godfrey Lubega won last year’s edition of the competition. For starters, Mubarak Kizito is the only person to have won the event three years in a row, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
