Benson Muhindo came on as a second half substitute to inspire SC Villa’s 2-1 comeback win over Bright Stars on Friday evening at Mandela National Stadium.

Muhindo replaced Yayo Lutimba early in the second period when Villa was trailing to an early Jamil Kalisa goal to score one and set up the other.

Kalisa gave the visitors the lead in the 17th minute with a calm finish. Bright Stars who came into the contest on five game unbeaten run held out until Emmanuel Wasswa headed perfectly a Muhindo quality cross after the hour mark.

Before Villa rallied back, Wasswa and Ambrose Kirya both were guilty for missing several scoring opportunities.
