Mutyaba grateful of first victory in the dugout for Onduparaka

New Onduparaka head coach Joseph Mutyaba has applauded his players for their effort in overcoming a tough Luwero side in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

They edged Luweero United 1-0 courtesy of Ali Mukiibi’s goal to storm the round of 16 the at Kasana grounds in Luweero.

“It has not been an easy game for us but we can not fail to thank God for the positive results.”

“It is unfortunate that the players are so down which might be caused by the compact fixture schedule”.

“We have to continue working hard towards our targets and we hope to fight on”

The Caterpillars join BUL, Maroons, Proline, URA and Vipers among the teams that made it to the round of 16.

Eighth on the table with 21 points from 16 games, Onduparaka now focus on hosting struggling Kitara at AbaBet Green Light Stadium in Arua on Tuesday 13th-April.
