Nara Promotionz launches charity Boxing event to support girl child

Nara Promotionz has on Monday 24th, May officially launched the first ever charity boxing event in Uganda to support the girl child talent in boxing.

The event was launched at Paragon bet offices Kabalagala and will take place on 25th June at Fusion Sports Fusion in Industrial area 5th street next to Bata factory.

According to Hussein Babu of Nara Promotionz the funds that will be collected will be used to cater for girl child in the boxing fraternity

“The major aim of this event is to solicit funds that will help purchase boxing equipments for the girl child in various Boxing clubs.” I therefore call upon companies and other stake holders to come and support in anyway possible.”

Paragon Betting company gave a support of Shs.10M to the organisers of the event.

At the event there will be professional fights and undercard fights.

Musa Ntege and John Sserunjogi

The professional fights will see John Sserunjogi take on Kalifani “Miti” Muduuda, Musa Ntege faces Saidi Chako, Abdul Sebute will be against Iga Remmy, among others.

Some of the undercard fights will include;

Mubarak Seguya against Farouq Tuwuliza, John “ Weekend” Katongole shall face Jowali Kalenzi, Ali Muhammad Sserunkuma faces Jamil Kayiwa and Juma Iga will take on James Mutumwa.
