Nkima clan seeks over Shs100M for Bika Football and Netball competitions preparations

Nkima clan sports management committee seeks over Shs100M for their preparations in the 2024 Bika Football and Netball competitions.

Mathias Jumba, the chairman Nkima clan football and Netball committee has urged all clan members to come out and give support to their clan in various aspects.

“I call upon all the Nkima clan members across the country to come and give support to our clan. We need over Shs100M to run both the Netball and football teams and so we need support from everyone. We cannot return to glorious days without giving support to the clan.”

“I thank those who have already come out to support us in various aspects and I am optimistic more will give us support.” Said Jumba

Nkima clan football team is under the stewardship of Kilywa Mato and will be supported by Francis Mugerwa and Peter Katumba.

National Netball team head coach Fred Mugerwa is the Nkima clan Netball team coach.

The football team currently trains at Lubiri and will open their campaign against Omusu on 30th April.

They last won the football competition in 2018 when they beat Mpindi 1-0 in Butambala. They are also previous winners in 1962 and 1993.
