Okumbi confident as he names Kenya’s U20 final squad ahead of the CECAFA championship

Stanley Okumbi Kenya’s U20 coach has named his squad that he believes is good enough to win the competition.

The Rising Stars are pooled I group B alongside Ethiopia, Tanzania and Zanzibar.


“We are in a tough group but i think the tougher the group the better the challenge.”

“With the quality of players we have in the team I don’t think we have an excuse of not getting positive results. I have showcased my players that this is their chance of showcasing what they can do”.


They start their campaign against Zanzibar on Sunday 22nd-September at FUFA Techinical Center Njeru 2:00pm
