Paidha Black Angels edged Kitara FC 4-2 in spot kicks in the FUFA Big League promotional play off final to hand themselves top flight promotion joining Ndejje University and Nyamityobora FC.
It was a barren stalemate at fulltime and spot kicks were left to decide the fate .

Yusuf Ssozi, Andrew Kidega, Yuda Mugalu and Ceaser Olega managed perfectly to convert the spot kicks for Paidha Black Angels
Ivan Kyoterekela and Samuel Adibo converted for Kitara FC while Billy Alinda shot wide as Roger Miller Ahumuza put it straight into Steven Odong’s hands.
Paidha’s promotion sends Kabonge’s tally of promoted teams to 3 after guiding Onduparaka, Masavu and now Paidha Black Angels.

In the FUFA big league final Ndejje University have emerged champions after defeating Nyamityobora FC 1-0 courtesy of Noel Nasasira’s early goal
Noel Nassasira was ultimately named the MVP for the FUFA Big League 2017-2018
Amuka Bright Stars’ Dickens Okwi took the golden boot with 13 goals.
Goalkeeper Derrick Emukule of Ndejje University moved away with the golden glove for his out standing performance throughout the season.
