Soltilo Bright Stars complete a clean swoop of the Pilsner best of April

Soltilo Bright Stars duo of Samuel Kayongo Ssekamatte and Baker Mbowa has been named Pilsner player and coach of the month of April.

The pair was crowned on Monday morning at Kati Kati Restaurant in Lugogo.

Ssekamatte beat Police FC forward Ben Ocen to land the Pilsner player of April.

The Bright Stars striker netted six league goals in six games in which he featured for his side during the month while Ocen scored five for the Cops.

Soltilo Bright Stars head coach Mbowa beat Vipers SC tactician Fred Kajoba to the April gong.

Mbowa guided his side to five wins and one draw in the six league games they played, accumulating 16 points from the possible 18 in April.

The duo walked away with an accolade and Shs1M each courtesy of sponsors Pilsner

In March URA FC coach Sam Ssimbwa and KCCA FC forward Sadat Anaku were named coach and player of the month.
