Two red cards as Express edge Arua Hill to seal third successive win

Express FC continued with their fine form with a narrow 1-0 win over Arua Hill on Wednesday at Paridi P/S in Adjumani.

Emmanuel Alex Wasswa scored the all important goal as the Red Eagles smiled to maximum points.

Both teams finished with a man less after red cards to Arua Hill skipper Gaddafi Wahab in the 76th minute before Express FC’s Aguocha was sent off deep in stoppage time.

They have now won three straight games against NEC FC, Vipers SC and now Arua Hill.

Victory takes Alex Isabirye coached side to sixth place with 22 points in 14 games.

Defeat adds to Arua Hill’s woes who have now gone six games without victory and remain bottom on the Uganda Premier league table.

Arua Hill next visit NEC on January, 6th at Lugogo while Express will host Gaddafi at Wankulukuku on the same day.
