Makerere University Business School will entertain Uganda Martyrs University in the first leg quarterfinal tie of the University football league at Nakawa.
The two side last faced off in the 2017 final at Mandela National Stadium in Namboole. Uganda Martyrs edged MUBS 2-0 to lift the trophy for the first time in their history.

They also met in the 2015 final with MUBS humbling their opponents 4-0 to secure their second University title.
MUBS tactician Charles expressed his optimism ahead of ahead the of the contest
“I am very confident that we are going to progress to the semifinals. We have prepared well and i believe we can make it.” We are facing a great side but to win such tournaments you have to beat the best.” Stated Ayiekho.
