URA FC confirm signing goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa

Goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa is the latest player to be unveiled by URA FC on a two year contract.

Omedwa is the second goalkeeper to be unveiled by the club after Dennis Otim who was acquired from Express FC.

The lanky shot stopper spent the two seasons at Arua Hill having joined the Kongolos in 2021 from Busoga United.

Omedwa says the competition at URA will automatically inspire him to work harder.

“ URA FC is a big club and playing here comes with A lot of responsibility which I am aware of. I know competition a lot but I will work hard to ensure I help the club achieve its goals each time I get the chance to play.” he told the club media.

Omedwa who is also a teacher of Geography and General Paper, is the 9th player to be unveiled.

He follows Aliro Moses Okabo, Ibrahim Wammanah, Denis Otim, Norman Namanya and teenagers Kisiriko Denis Luzige, Kisolo John Innocent, Amis Bwangani and Godfrey Sekibengo.
