After sacking Kenyan tactician Nam Ouma from his role as head coach, Vipers SC has now named his former assistant Edward Golola as head coach.
Golola returns to the club for the 3rd spell in the same role having previously been head coach between 2009-2011 and 2014-2015.

He also served as assistant to Portuguese coach Miguel Da Costa and has until last week been assistant to Nam Ouma.
Upon his appointment, Golola could not hide the joy,
” I am immensely proud to be returning as head coach”, said Golola as quoted be the club’s official website.
Golola will be assisted by Richard Wasswa with whom he worked on the previous two spells.
The other members of the technical team include Ram Nyakana Mpuga who will be in charge of team fitness, Edward Ssali (second assistant coach), Moses Oloya (goalkeeping coach) and Mathius Kasagga the physiotherapist.
