Wakiso Giants sign midfielder Kasule

Wakiso Giants have completed the signing of offensive midfielder Owen “Baba” Ibrahim Kasule.

Kasule is an entertainer with the ball on his feet, blessed with quick pace, a great dribbler and can superbly pass the ball.

Swift Sports understands that the skilled midfielder has put pen to paper on a three year employment contract with the Wakiso based side.

He has previously played lower division football at All Stars Mbiko, Mbiko United, Athletico Club – Ntinda, Nansana United and lately Kampala Junior Team (KJT).

He has also featured for Buddu in for the last two years in the Airtel Masaza Cup tourney, losing to Ssingo in the 2018 final and also finishing fourth after falling short in the third place playoff last year.

He is expected to bid farewell to the Masaza Cup competition this year again with the 2016 champions.

In 2019, Kasule was a key pillar for St. Lawrence University as they finished runners up to eventual winners Uganda Christian University in the Pepsi University Football League.

At St Lawrence University, Kasule is a second year student of Industrial Art and Design.

Born in Buikwe to the family of Abdul Rafik Balaba and Sarah Nalwoga, Kasule is expected to win many hearts of Uganda Premier league fans while donning the Purple Sharks Jersey next season.

Wakiso Giants will be under the stewardship of Douglas Bamweyana and Richard Wasswa next season.
