Ndugwa’s contract with BUL FC will officially expire on January 25th and efforts to renew it fell through.

BUL FC failed to match Ndugwa’s terms of a contract extension since the striker’s demand was three times of what the club was offering him to stay.

The Venoms are seeking to bolster their squad for the upcoming CAF Champions League games where they will be facing Raja Casablanca, Horoya AC of Guinea and Simba SC.

Ndugwa joined BUL FC last year in January on a one year contract as a replacement of Musa Esenu and went on to inspire the club to their first ever Uganda Cup title beating Vipers 3-1 in the final.

He has previously played for a number of clubs including SC Villa, URA FC, Express FC, AFC Leopards in Kenya, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City, Horseed in Somalia, Onduparaka and Victors among others.

Vipers are 3rd on the league table with two points behind leaders KCCA FC and will be hoping to reinforce their squad that can compete in all competitions in the closing half of the season.
