Crested Cranes striker joins Russia’s Dynamo Moscow

Russia’s Dynamo Moscow Women Football Club has announced the acquisition of Crested Cranes forward Fauzia Najjemba on a long term contract.

Najjemba has joined the Russian club after her one year contract with Kazakhstan champions BIIK Shymkent came to an end.

Najjemba had joined BIIK Shymkent last year and took part in this season’s UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

The former Isra Soccer Academy and Kampala Queens go-to girl will now don shirt number 20.

Her new club is a subsidy of Russian giants Dynamo Moscow and was officially founded on 2 December 2021.

Najjemba will also become the first Ugandan player to play in Russia since Moses Oloya with Kuban Krasnodar in 2018.
