SC Villa kicked off their preparations for the forthcoming season under the stewardship of Serbian tactician Dusan Stojanovic on Monday with training sessions at East High in Ntinda.
Majority of the players who were part of Villa’s team last campaign have already reported for training.
However, attacking Midfieder Travis Mutyaba and defender Kenneth Semakula are yet to show up at the training sessions.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Mutyaba is currently featuring for Buhweju District in Ankole Cup tournament.
The midfieder also scored for a brilliant goal from a free kick for his side Buhweju District on Wednesday.

Mutyaba has a year left on his contract at SC Villa whom he joined at the start of the 2021/22 season on a three year deal.
His future at Villa remains uncertain ahead of the new footballing season.

Striker Bbaale who managed to score 12 league goals is yet to appear at Villa training sessions after expiration of his contract while Gift Fred is taking part in the sessions.
