Former SC Villa and Vipers winger agrees terms with URA FC

Uganda Revenue Authority Football club (URA FC) have agreed terms with winger Joseph Ssemujju.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Ssemujju is currently a free agent after ending his one year contract at Tanzanian side Mbeya FC.

He is expected to put pen to paper on a two employment contract with the revenue collectors.

In January last year,  Ssemujju mutually part ways with Stanbic Uganda Cup champions BUL FC.

He left the Jinja based side after scoring 18 goals in his two years of service at the club.

Ssemujju joined Tanzanian side Mbeya City FC after ending his marriage at BUL FC on a one year employment contract.

The former Uganda U23 national team player has previously featured for Vipers SC, Proline FC, SC Villa and Express FC.

Ssemujju set to join URA FC

Ssemujju also spent two months on trial with 13 time Polish champions Legia Warsaw in 2019.

The tax collectors have so far signed striker Bruno Bunyaga from Bushenyi Veterans, former SC Villa midfielder Nicholas Kabonge and Joshua Lubwama Letti from Wakiso Giants.

The tax collectors also appointed Tooro Province head coach Fred Muhumuza as their assistant coach replacing Baker Mbowa.

The club already announced the departure of Derrick Nsibambi who joined Al Basheer SC in Oman.
