The youthful shot stopper joins the army side as a quick fix for the club’s woes in the goalkeeping department.
Veteran goalkeeper Ivan Mutumba went AWOL from the club while Paul Akweny and Simon Mubuya have been struggling with injuries.
Senkooto is a former Super Cubs keeper who burst to the scene with SC Villa two seasons ago.
Despite having an impressive spell at SC Villa, Senkooto left the club at the start of the current season after both parties failed to agree on a possible contract renewal.
As earlier reported, UPDF FC also signed former SC Villa defender Moses Kiggundu on one year contract.
The Brian Ssenyondo coached side currently sit 13th on the table with 10 points from 14 games played.
