Uganda U20 winger Mohammed Nsereko has revealed why he left Uganda’s most successful football club SC Villa.
According to Nsereko his premature departure was due to current SC Villa head coach Jackson Magera.
“I have been disappointed with coach Jackson Magera, he didn’t like me. I always respected him but it seems I was not part of his plans though he pretended that I was part.”
“He is the reason why I even failed to make the U20 squad currently preparing for the AFCON tournament.” He called a certain person on the national team and told him that I am indisciplined and so I shouldn’t be summoned.”
Nsereko also stated that lack of playing time was another issue
“Of course, I am just starting my career but above all I need to have enough playing time.” At Villa under coach Magera that has not been the case and that’s why I decided to depart the team.” Nsereko revealed
The youthful winger joined SC Villa on a three year employment contract at the start of last season. He is a former St.Mary’s Kitende and Vipers SC Junior Team player.
