The FUFA Women Super League leaders Kampala Queens are in advanced stages of signing youngster Hadijah Nandago from rivals Kawempe Muslim.

Nandago is arguably Kawempe’s best performer this season and their top scorer with five goals so far.

Nandago together with Uganda Martyrs winger and captain Catherine Nagadya have been top of the Kampala Queens wishlist.

A few months ago while appearing on FUFA, the FUFA President who is also the club’s patron Eng Moses Magogo openly expressed his admiration for the talented Kawempe starlet.

Nandago came to prominence with the U17 team in 2019 under coach Ayub Khalifa and went on to feature for the U20 as well. She is yet to play for the senior team.

Nandago has previously played for Isra Soccer Academy where she was on loan from Kawempe Muslim in 2019.

Kampala Queens will be expected to make a few additions in the squad as the FUFA Women Super League returns early next month.
