FUFA Big League side Lugazi FC have completed the signing of Umar Kayemba from Buganda Regional League side Lugazi Municipal FC.
Kayemba has been the captain of the Buganda Regional League side.
The midfielder a former player at Kajjansi United FC, but also plays for St Lawrence University in the University League.
Kayemba was part of the St Lawrence University’s squad that lost 1-0 to Uganda Martyrs University final last year at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo.
He is a Masaza Cup winner with Buddu and also featured for Kyaggwe in the prestigious tournament.
Lugazi FC is in 13th position on the FUFA Big League table with 14 points from 14 games.
They climax the first round of the Big League on Thursday 19th January against Calvary FC at Lugazi Stadium.
