Bamwange leaves Maroons to replace Afeti at Arua Hill

Maroons FC have confirmed the departure of their Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pius Bamwange on mutual consent.

This was confirmed through an official statement released by the Luzira based entity.

“The Board of Maroons Football Club has today Tuesday 24th January 2023 parted ways with it’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Bamwange Pius on mutual terms.”

“The Club recognizes the immense contribution made by Mr. Bamwange to its professional growth and development of the Maroons Brand and the protection of the Club image both on and off the pitch.”

“We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
Meanwhile a new setup of the Club Secretariat will be announced soon.”

Swift Sports understands Bamwange has already replaced Tonny Afeti at Arua Hill SC

He has previously worked with Saints FC, Lweza FC (now defunct), Onduparaka FC and recently Maroons FC.

Maroons FC will play Busoga United on Friday 10th February in Jinja as the second round kicks off.
