The organisers of the Pilsner monthly league have revealed the winners of December at a brief ceremony held at Kati Kati Restaurant.
SC Villa head coach Jackson Magera and Maroons FC striker Fred Amaku were named coach and player of December respectively.
Amaku scored three goals, one assist and was once named man of the month.
He beat Tibita Laban (Busoga United) and Milton Karisa (Vipers SC) to the gong of December.
Meanwhile, Magera was named coach of the month after guiding SC Villa to three wins and one draw in the four games they played in December.
He beat BUL FC’s Alex Isabirye Musongola and Morley Byekwaso of KCCA FC to the accolade.
Amaku and Magera were each rewarded with Shs1M courtesy of main sponsors Pilsner lager.
