URA FC have announced the signing of striker Alfred Leku on a free transfer.
Leku joins the Tax Collectors after leaving Zambia’s Zesco United after only five months.
The towering striker scored 11 goals for Arua Hill last season before he moved to Zambia.
He is a former player at Vipers SC, Express FC, Onduparaka FC, Proline and Botswana’s Extension Gunners.
He is the fifth signing acquired by the club after Bruno Bunyaga, Joshua Lubwama Letti, Nicholas Kabonge and Joseph Ssemujju.
He comes in to fill the void left by George Senkaaba who was sent out to Big League giants Kitara FC.
Derrick Nsibambi also left the club for Oman’s Al Basheer while Joackiam Ojera was loaned to Rayon Sports in Rwanda.
The Sam Timbe coached side will be taking on Uganda Pentacostal University in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 64.
