Experienced Boban Zirintusa completes move to Express FC

Experienced midfielder Boban Bogere Zirintusa has completed a return to Uganda Premier League after signing a six month contract with Express FC.

Zirintusa has been a free agent since leaving Tanzania’s Mtibwa Sugar at the start of the current season.

He is a tried and tested midfielder who has previously played in Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, India, Zambia and Ethiopia.

He previously featured for Bunamwaya (Vipers), SC Villa, Busoga United, Simba SC, Highfeld and Dynamos in Zimbabwe and Polokwane City in South Africa.

Mohan Bagan (India), Ethiopia Bunna (Coffee) and Zambia’s Buildcon are other clubs he has played for.

As earlier reported, Express signed winger Frank Ssenyondo from Wakiso Giants alongside goalkeeper Ronald Mutebi, Isma Kawawulo and Jamal Alimansi.

The Red Eagles have edged Buganda Regional League side Kajjansi United 2-1 to book a place in the round of 32 of the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
