The Uganda Secondary School Sports Association (USSSA) has suspended Light High School Sseguku from this year’s football activities.

According to USSSA, their online registration system identified anomalies in the entries of some Light High School Sseguku players.

The players were found with different names, age, index numbers and date of birth compared to the earlier entries.

Due to breach of USSSA rules and regulations, Light High School has been suspended from this year’s U20 Secondary School Championship.

Light High School Sseguku had earlier last week made history by ending St.Mary’s Kitende ‘s dominance at the Kitende Zone school’s football championship.

They needed a 5-4 shootout win to beat St.Mary’s Kitende in the boys final after a 1-1 stalemate in normal time.

Light High School Sseguku also prevailed in the girls’ football final as well by overcoming Kings Way SS 2-0.
