Kitara FC have officially unveiled Sam Ssimbwa Bamweyana as their new head coach ahead of the second round of the FUFA Big League.
Ssimbwa replaces Mark Twinamatsiko who was suspended by the club in January for two months.
The former URA FC tactician came close to joining Maroons FC but the deal fell through after Kitara offer him a juicy offer.
He has previously coached at Express, Sports Club Villa Jogoo, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Mbale Heroes, Masaka Local Council, Health FC, Top TV, Soana, Atraco (Rwanda), Police (Rwanda), Sports Club Victoria University, Simba, Somalia National team, Sofapaka (Kenya) and lately URA FC.
Ssimbwa was unveiled together with his assistant George Lutalo and goalkeeping coach Hamza Muwonge.
Nicholas Isaac Ssengoba was retained as the team physiotherapist.
Meanwhile, Kitara have also officially unveiled new signings Paul Mucureezi, Farouk Katongole and striker George Ssenkaba.
