The winners of the Fortebet Real Stars for the month of January have been revealed at the ceremony held at Route 256 in Lugogo.
Rasheeda Mutesi (Pool), Shadir Musa (Boxing), Ronald Lutaaya (Cricket), Waleed Omar ( Motocross), Henry Nsekuye (Rugby) won in their respective sports disciplines.
Mutesi won the Pool gong after claiming the National Ladies Pool League title with Mukono Ladies.
She beat her elder sister Rukia Naiga and Ibrahim Sejjemba to the accolade.
Mutesi has not lost any individual game since 2017, She is the number one seed in Uganda and second on the continent.
Nsekuye of Makerere Impis beat Ivan Magomu of Black Pirates and Aaron Ofoyrwoth of Platinum Credit Heathens to the rugby gong.
Lutaaya of Itanda Kayaker clinched the best of Cricket accolade after excelling at the just concluded Waterfall T20 Championship. He beat Proscovia Alako (Bujjagali Rafters Franchise) and Janet Mbabazi (Sipi Trekkers).
In Boxing, Shadir Musa who knocked down Magumba last month beat Yusuf Babu and Abdul Aziz Ssebulime to the accolade.
Waleed Omar beat Miguel Katende and Wazir Omar to the best of Motocross award.
