Debutant Joseph Ssemujju netted a brace as URA FC beat Onduparaka FC 2-0 at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua.
Ssemujju who replaced Viane Ssekajugo at the start of the second half, struck in the 56th minute before completing his brace in the 85th minute.
The former BUL FC forward joined the tax collectors in the January transfer window as a free agent after expiration of his contract at Mbeya City FC.
Before the win over Onduparaka, Sam Timbe’s side had gone seven games without a league win.
Their last win was against Arua Hill in November last year.
Meanwhile, the Caterpillars have only managed one win this term and that was against URA FC in the first round.
Onduparaka are bottom of the Uganda Premier league table with 7 points while URA are 11th with 17 points.
The Caterpillars will next travel to SC Villa on Saturday, 25th February at Akiibua Memorial stadium while URA host Express at Nakisunga Saza Ground on the same day.
