SC Villa have enjoyed a good week with two good results against Soltilo Bright Stars and Wakiso Giants.
Against Wakiso on Saturday, the table leaders came from a goal down to win 3-1 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.
Shariph Kimbowa gave the hosts an early lead before Umar Lutalo sensationally levelled matters midway in the first half.
Charles Bbaale brace in the second half was enough to see the 16 time Uganda Premier league champions stretch their lead at the summit to six points.
Bbaale has now scored eight goals in the league this campaign.
Villa have now won six games in row against Onduparaka, Express, BUL FC, Busoga United, Bright Stars and now Wakiso Giants.
The sweet revenge over Wakiso sees the Jogoos extend their lead at the top to six points. They have garnered 43 points in 20 games.
The Purple Sharks remain winless since the second round and have lost five league games from their last six. They are now 9th on the log with 26 points in 21 games.
Villa will next host Arua Hill FC at Wankulukuku Stadium on 19th April while Wakiso will next face off with Gaddafi in Jinja.
