Uganda national ladies Basketball team (Gazelles) final team for the Zone V Championship has been named.
Evelyn Nakiyingi, Ekone Brenda, Shakirah Nanvubya, Bridget Aber and Youngster Shilla Lamunu are part of the final team.
The players released include Small Forward Zainah Lokwameri, Small forward Agatha Kamwanda (UCU Lady Canons) and Guard Peruth Nyamwenge (KIU Rangers).
Uganda will face Kenya in their opening game of the Zone V Championship while South Sudan and Egypt tussle it out in the opener on Tuesday.
Rwanda is the other team that will take part in the five-team tournament. They already prevailed to the Afrobasket final tournament as hosts.
