UGANDA CUP: Mbalangu’s Blacks Power ready to challenge Wakiso Giants for a place in the round of 16

Blacks Power FC will face off with Wakiso Giants at Aki Bua Stadium in Lira on Tuesday 14th as the round of 32 games of the Stanbic Uganda Cup start.

The northern region based side will however have to contend with the absence of two key players but head coach Mbalangu remains upbeat that his men are good enough to eject Wakiso Giants.

“We are very ready for this game and we have greatly prepared for it. We are trying to keep the momentum we put up against BUL FC.”

“We are to make our fans happy since we are home we expect to come out victorious.”

Mbalangu’s side will miss of first choice goalkeeper Emmanuel Odongkara and Ivan Okello due to respective injuries but some good news is the return of Tonny Kyamera.

To progress to this round Blacks Power defeated Northern Regional League side Bukedea Central 1-0.

Wakiso Giants eliminated Fort Portal Boda Boda a Regional League side 3-1.

BUL FC are the defending champions they defeated Vipers SC 3-1 last year in Masindi.
