There will be three fixtures in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 32 will resume on Wednesday with three games.
Vipers who suffered a 5-0 defeat to Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca in the CAF Champions league group C group opener will travel to FUFA Big League side Jinja North United for their round of 32 tie at Kakindu Stadium.
On the same day, 2019 competition runners up Soltilo Bright Stars will visit to Mbale Heroes at Mbale Stadium.
Bright Stars head coach Asaph Mwebaze asserts that his side will be motivated by their round of 64 performance over Nakapelimen to overcome Mbale Heroes
“We have had enough rest from when we last played in Moroto and the players are eager to go again tomorrow,” Mwebaze said before adding.
“It was a strong victory and it will motivate us as we face Mbale Heroes though I believe they will be stronger than our last opponents,” he added.
Bright Stars thrashed Nakapelimen 8-0 to progress to the round of 32.
Meanwhile, Vipers needed a 3-1 penalty shootout win to dump out Bujumbura United after a goalless draw in normal time.
Vipers’ opponents Jinja North United also needed penalties to eject Busei 5-6 after a thrilling 3-3 draw in normal time.
The other game will be between FBL side Mbarara City and Admin. In the Round of 64, Mbarara edged Tawai 1-0 while Admin eliminated Northern Gateway 5-1.
