Roberto Oliveira “Robertinho” is currently walking on thin ice following a string of unconvincing results at Simba SC.
According to reports in Tanzania, Robertinho is likely to face the sack if the club fails to win the subsequent double header against Vipers SC.
This comes as the Tanzanian giants sit bottom of the Group C of the CAF Champions League with no point garnered after two games played.
Simba miserably lost 3-0 to Raja Casablanca in Dar es Salaam last week shortly after falling to Horoya AC 1-0 in Guinea.
Robertinho was appointed the new coach of Simba early last month and has since been in charge of six competitive games from which he has managed three wins losing twice and drawing the other.
The Msimbazi giants have their target of reaching the CAF Inter-club semi finals written on the wall having previously played three quarter-finals, two in Champions League and one in the Confederation Cup, in the last five seasons.
The former Vipers tactician happens to be Simba’s seventh head coach since 2018.
