Kitara FC will seek to attain first league victory under Sam Simbwa in their visit to Jinja North United, a side that is not far away from the relegation zone.
The Hoima based side has played to two stalemates in the league, the most recent one being a one all draw against rivals Booma FC in the Bunyoro derby.
They are second on the table with 33 points, one behind leaders Mbarara City and stand a chance of topping the table after victory.
Jinja North United FC is wounded after they lost their most recent encounter to Mbarara City in Kakyeka.
The Eastern side is 11 on the table of 16 only three points above the relegation zone.
Kitara FC captain Maxwell Owachgiu believes there is room for improvement so they can still achieve their seasonal targets,
“This run we are going through is not good because we haven’t been able to score many goals or win on the road recently but we are all accountable and working hard to improve the performance.”
“The positive thing right now is that we are focused and still in a position where we can achieve our targets that we set from the start.”
He added as reported by the club website.
The Royals will be without Dudu Ramathan, Davis Ssali and Jamil Kiyimba due to injuries.
The first leg at Kigaya grounds in Hoima ended 3-1 in favour of Kitara.
