The Uganda Cricket Association has rewarded 12 members of the Uganda National ladies cricket team (Victoria Pearls) with contracts that will be reviewed every four months.

This is the first time that the association is rewarding the ladies with contracts that will guarantee them not only monthly pay but medical care as well.

UCA believes that this will motivate the ladies to scale greater heights, especially later in the year when they travel to South Africa for the T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
